Endometriosis is a clinical process in which the cells that make up the endometrium are outside of their normal location, making it impossible to prevent or cure it. This disease causes a very disabling pain, which can appear associated with menstruation and, initially, gives way to treatment with anti-inflammatory drugs or the pill.
