Protect yourself from the heat, for your health!
When the ambient temperature rises, our blood vessels dilate and blood pressure tends to drop, forcing the heart to work harder to pump blood.
This can increase the risk of cardiovascular events, such as myocardial infarction, stroke, cardiac arrhythmia and heart failure, especially in people with cardiovascular problems. Stay in cool environments, hydrate yourself frequently, avoid sun exposure during the hottest hours, wear light, light-colored clothing and opt for light, more frequent meals.
