What is the difference between flu and cold?
It never hurts to remember: despite both being viral infections, the flu and the cold are not caused by the same viruses and have some different symptoms.
The symptoms of a cold appear milder than those of the flu and are usually limited to the nose area. In the flu, symptoms tend to be more intense and muscle pain, fatigue and higher fever are more common. Furthermore, there is a greater risk of developing complications.
