World hemophilia day
Hemophilia is a rare disease that can pass through generations silently, as women are only carriers and the disease is almost exclusively male. This hereditary disease can cause frequent bleeding that can occur under the skin (bruising or ecchymosis), in the muscles (muscle haematomas) or in the joints (haemarthroses). In case of blood loss, direct pressure should be applied to the site, or ice if there is pain and swelling.
