It is a chronic, autoimmune disease, whose origin is unknown and has no cure. It is more prevalent in women of childbearing age, usually appearing after the age of 30. When it manifests itself, lupus can reach any organ.

The most frequent symptoms are: mild fever, extreme tiredness, intolerance to the sun, red or pink spots on the face, especially on the cheeks and nose, in the shape of a butterfly, pain in the muscles and joints, change of color in the extremities triggered by the cold.
